During the June 20th meeting we looked at the free software from the fine folks at Google.com called Picasa2 . (http://picasa.google.com/index.html) This program lets you manage and edit your photos. If you have tried using this program and have some experiences to share please post here and share it with us all!
We also talked about finding some good pictures to use to make into a Powerpoint (PPT) promoting the computer users group. We looked at a nicely done presentation for Lorain Public Library and some random pictures that various members have taken at various club events. I suggested that we go to upcoming club events and take pictures and see if we can come up with some that can be used for the club PPT!
Someone suggest that if we edited some of the club pictures that we looked at, they might be something that would look better in the powerpoint. If anyone would like a copy of a CD with club pictures on it, let me know and I will make you a copy and you can try editing some of these pictures. Sometimes, cropping a pictures and improving the lighting and color can make a big difference.
