The next meeting will be as listed in the newsletter and on the webpage - --- Next Monday, May 14 at 7 pm at the Lorain Public Library, Main, 6th & Reid in Lorain. We will meet in the meeting room DOWNSTAIRS.
Note that this date is not the 3rd Monday of the month as usual. For this month we will be meeting on the 2nd meeting of the month. We cannot get a room at the library for the meeting the following week - so rather than move the meeting - we'll meet on May 14.
This meeting we'll look at pictures that WE have taken recently that they want to share... (People = or anything).. Please bring some photos to share
Unless someone has another suggestion... I thought we could review the free program - Picassa... so what's new..
Google Picasa (picasa.google.com)
May 2007 PCWorld winner for best image editing
"Why spend several hundred dollars for graphics software when you can use the top-notch free app Google pIcasa? This photo editing and sharing program from Google is a big hit with PCM World editors and polled readers alike. Says one reader: "Beautiful interface. Excellent for organizing or anything else - touch up, slide show, screen saver, and wallperaper." Other respondents like Erich Tucker, of Woodbridge, VA, gave Google Picasa kudos for making it a breeze to find and edit pictures. We agree. "
Please join us and bring a friend...
